About Aura
Aura is a sticky-note board that runs in your browser. Click an empty spot to write a note where you clicked, drag it anywhere on the board, remove it with its cross. Each new note takes one of 12 pastel colors at random. There is nothing to install and no account to create.
What it does not do
Notes are saved in this browser’s local storage, under the key “aura-notes”, on the device you are using. Nothing is sent to a server, so there is no sync between devices, no sharing, no search and no backup on our side: clearing this site’s data in your browser erases the board, and we cannot bring it back. Aura is meant as a scratch board for the day, not an archive.
Who publishes it
Aura (aurasticky.com) is published by Go To Agency, SAS with a share capital of 1,000 euros, registered as RCS Dijon 944 980 762, 9 rue Jean-Jacques Rousseau, 21000 Dijon, France. Director of publication: Robin Monteiro. The board has been online since August 2025.
How the guides are written
The blog explains note-taking methods (Cornell notes, PARA, the Zettelkasten, mind maps) and credits each one to the person who described it. Every article ends with the list of its sources. What an article says about Aura is checked against the board as it is: the guides were rewritten in October 2026 so that none of them promises a feature Aura does not have.
